Dog loves treats as much as humans, but we must learn what is right for our dog’s daily nutrition needs. Teaching your dog to respect healthy food is important as too much junk food or processed food out of a box will only add weight and empty nutrition. Anything is a package could be junk food. Consider crunchy natural plant treats such as carrots, celery, apple to begin with.
As you train your dog to respect the healthy plan treats, you may improve his palate by starting to offer him other plant treats such as cabbage, kale, spinach, romaine until eventually he will eat any plant treat offered him. Never give your dog onions, garlic, potato or grapes.
I never knew a dog that would eat mushrooms so if your dog will eat a mushroom we sure would love to have your comments below.
